As a humanist and therapist for over 20 years with people in the performing, creative, visual and word arts, Belinda Seiger believes in making licensed professional mental health consultation available in spite of financial circumstances. She writes: working with creative people including scientists, writers and thinkers, they often do not have high salaries or insurance, but they may still have personal problems to solve. I am committed to making our services at the Momentum Center available to gifted, talented and creative people in a dignified and professional manner even if they can only pay a limited fee.
Dr. Seiger is available in person in York and New Jersey and via SKYPE or telephone as well. Dr. Seiger is the author of “weedgirl” and “Gifted Women Who Are Mothers” in addition to numerous other publications.
Specialties include integrated approaches to substance abuse, tech and gaming addictions, dealing with ADD/ADHD in yourself or a loved one, parenting gifted or highly gifted children, anxiety management including social anxiety, adult and young adult giftedness, pathfinding for creative, highly sensitive, divergent and highly gifted, and issues of gifted couples.
